  • Account information (name, email, password hash, authentication data).
  • Business & financial inputs you submit to generate reports (e.g., revenues, expenses, assets/liabilities, notes, periods).
  • Payment information (transaction metadata and status). Card details are typically handled by our payment processor, not stored directly by us.
  • Usage & device data (IP address, browser type, pages/actions, timestamps, approximate location from IP).
  • Support communications (emails, chat messages, attachments you send us).

3) How we use your information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Generate previews and finalized exports (PDF) from your inputs.
  • Process payments and deliver purchases (e.g., export access, accountant review service).
  • Communicate with you about updates, security, support, and service messages.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4) Accountant review option

If you select an optional certified accountant review, we will share only the information reasonably necessary for the reviewer to perform the review and prepare the signed/stamped review page. Reviewers are expected to treat your information as confidential. Reviewer work is a review engagement (not an audit) and is based on the information you provide.

5) Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

6) How we share information

We may share information in the following limited situations:

  • Service providers (hosting, storage, payment processing, email delivery, chat/support tooling) who process data on our behalf.
  • Certified reviewers if you choose the accountant review option.
  • Legal & compliance if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers (e.g., merger, acquisition) subject to continued protection of your data.

We do not sell your personal information.

7) Data retention

We retain data as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal/accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account; some information may be retained where legally required or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, billing records).

8) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9) Your choices

  • Access/update certain account details through your profile/settings.
  • Request account deletion by contacting us.
  • Opt out of non-essential marketing messages (service messages may still be sent).

10) International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where data protection laws may differ. We take steps to protect your information consistent with this policy.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date.
